There was a time in my life when people assumed I was one of the most confident women they had ever met.
I understood why.
I was tall before most girls my age. By fifteen I was already 5'9". At eighteen I was modeling. I smiled for magazine covers, walked into rooms with my shoulders back, and eventually built a career helping thousands of people transform their health.
From the outside, confidence seemed obvious.
Inside, however, I carried a completely different story.
For years I believed that if I became prettier...
thinner...
more successful...
more disciplined...
more accomplished...
then maybe I would finally feel worthy.
I spent years chasing a finish line that didn't exist.
Looking back now, I realize I wasn't searching for perfection.
I was searching for permission to love myself.
The truth is, healing my body wasn't what changed my life.
Healing my relationship with myself did.
Ironically, once that happened, my body began healing too.
The Hidden Root of My Low Self-Esteem

For much of my childhood, compliments were rare.
Looking back as an adult, I understand why.
The adults around me likely believed that too much praise might create arrogance or entitlement.
Their intentions may have been loving.
Unfortunately, what my younger self heard was something entirely different.
I heard...
"You haven't done enough."
"You aren't enough."
"You still have more to prove."
Children don't always hear what adults intend.
They internalize what they repeatedly experience.
So although people complimented my appearance outside my family, somewhere deep inside I developed the belief that love had to be earned.
That achievement created worth.
That perfection created acceptance.
That if I just worked harder...
looked better...
performed better...
then I would finally receive the validation I longed for.
That belief quietly followed me into adulthood.
It followed me into modeling.
It followed me into relationships.
It followed me into business.
Eventually, it followed me into distorted eating patterns.
Most people assume struggles with food are about food.
In my experience, they rarely are.
They're about trying to become someone you believe deserves love.
Why Perfection Never Creates Peace

One of the greatest lies I ever believed was that confidence comes after achievement.
It doesn't.
Achievement may temporarily distract you from insecurity.
It doesn't heal insecurity.
You can have magazine covers.
Successful businesses.
Thousands of followers.
Awards.
Recognition.
Even admiration from complete strangers.
Yet still look in the mirror wondering why you don't feel enough.
That was me.
Last month I was featured in a Los Angeles magazine.
Ironically, almost no one close to me acknowledged it.
Years ago that would have devastated me.
Today?
It simply reminded me how much healing had already taken place.
Because I no longer need everyone else to celebrate me in order to celebrate myself.
That realization took decades.
Healing My Body Changed the Way I Saw Myself

People often ask me,
"Andrea, what changed?"
They assume it was one supplement.
One detox.
One biohack.
One skincare product.
One breakthrough.
The truth is much less glamorous.
It was thousands of small decisions repeated consistently.
Healing became a lifestyle rather than an event.
Every morning I began keeping promises to myself.
I started drinking fresh green juice instead of reaching for convenience.
I nourished my body with living foods full of enzymes, minerals, antioxidants, and chlorophyll.
I stopped viewing movement as punishment and began seeing it as gratitude.
Walking became medicine. According to research published by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), regular daily walking significantly supports mental health, mood regulation, and stress reduction.
Strength training became empowerment. As highlighted in research from Harvard Health, regular strength training builds physical resilience and releases key neurochemicals that foster emotional well-being.
Yoga became prayer.
Sleep became sacred.
Hydration became non-negotiable.
Sunlight became therapy.
The more consistently I cared for my body, the more my body began teaching my mind something it had forgotten.
I was worth caring for.
That one realization changed everything.
Daily Habits That Rebuilt My Self-Worth
These habits may seem simple, but together they transformed my nervous system and my life:
- Fresh green juice every morning
- Living foods rich in nutrients
- Daily walks in nature
- Strength training several times each week
- Yoga for flexibility and nervous system regulation
- Morning sunlight before checking my phone
- Adequate hydration
- Prioritizing deep sleep
- Periodic fasting to support cellular renewal (scientific studies indexed on the NIH PubMed Database demonstrate how structured fasting promotes autophagy and cellular repair)
- Reducing my toxic load whenever possible
- Protecting my peace with healthy boundaries
None of these habits made me worthy.
They reminded me that I already was.

The Missing Piece Was Never Another Diet

There was a time when I believed one more cleanse, one more supplement, one more workout, or one more accomplishment would finally make me feel complete.
It never did.
The missing piece was never another diet.
It was learning to trust myself.
Every time I kept a promise to myself—whether that meant going to bed on time, drinking my green juice, finishing a workout, or saying "no" to something that drained me—I slowly rebuilt something I had lost years earlier.
Self-trust.
Confidence isn't built from compliments.
It's built by becoming someone you can count on.
When you consistently honor yourself, your body begins to relax.
Your nervous system begins to feel safe.
You stop chasing validation because you've become your own source of it.
Ironically, that was also when the right opportunities, healthier friendships, and more aligned clients began showing up in my life.
The Spiritual Side of Healing

As my physical health improved, something unexpected happened.
My spiritual life deepened.
I became more discerning about the people I allowed into my life.
I stopped confusing chaos with chemistry.
I stopped believing I had to rescue everyone.
I stopped over-explaining myself.
I stopped shrinking to make other people comfortable.
Perhaps the greatest lesson I learned is this:
Not everyone who enters your life is meant to stay.
Some people arrive to teach you boundaries.
Some arrive to show you your own strength.
Others simply reveal the places within yourself that still need healing.
Once I began healing those wounds, many of the unhealthy relationships that once consumed my energy naturally fell away.
I no longer felt the need to chase, convince, rescue, or prove my worth.
Peace became far more attractive than approval.
This is exactly what I now help my clients do through my Karmic Clearing & Cord Severing and private spiritual work—learning how to release unhealthy attachments, strengthen intuition, create healthy boundaries, and finally choose themselves without guilt.
How I Help My Clients Heal
Over the years I've realized that true healing rarely begins with food alone.
It begins by asking better questions.
How is your nervous system?
How well do you sleep?
Do you feel emotionally safe?
Are you constantly living in survival mode?
Do your relationships leave you feeling energized—or exhausted?
Are you nourishing your body with foods that support healing or relying on convenience because you're overwhelmed?
These are the conversations I have every day with my clients.
Together we create practical, sustainable habits that support healing from every angle.
We focus on:
- Living foods
- Fresh vegetable juices
- Gentle fasting protocols when appropriate (like my 7-Day Juicy Cleanse)
- Nervous system regulation
- Strength training
- Walking
- Restorative sleep
- Stress reduction
- Emotional resilience
- Healthy boundaries
- Releasing relationships that continually pull you away from yourself
Healing isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about returning to the person you were before life convinced you that you weren't enough.
My Life Looks Different Today

If you had asked me years ago what success looked like, my answer would have been very different.
Today, success is much simpler.
It's waking up peacefully.
It's hearing birds outside my window.
It's making fresh green juice in my kitchen.
It's walking beneath the Arizona sky.
It's tending my garden.
It's spending time with animals.
It's laughing with people I trust.
It's ending the day knowing I honored myself.
For the first time in my life, I don't feel like I'm constantly trying to prove anything.
I simply get to live.
And that may be the greatest accomplishment of all.
Do I still hope for love?
Absolutely.
I would love to share this beautiful life with a loyal partner who values honesty, kindness, growth, and peace as much as I do.
But I've also learned something incredibly freeing.
Love isn't something I need to complete me.
It's simply the dairy-free icing on an already beautifully decorated cake.
You Deserve to Feel Worthy, Too
If you've spent years believing you aren't enough...
If you've struggled with confidence...
If you've constantly looked outside yourself for approval...
Please hear this.
There is nothing wrong with you.
You do not need to become a different person before you deserve peace.
Healing begins the moment you stop abandoning yourself.
Start with one healthy meal.
One walk.
One good night's sleep.
One fresh juice.
One prayer.
One boundary.
One promise kept to yourself.
Those small moments eventually become a completely different life.
I know.
Because they did for me.

Final Thoughts

People often tell me I seem more radiant than ever.
While I'm grateful for the compliment, I don't believe my glow comes from one skincare product, one supplement, or even one healthy habit.
I believe it comes from peace.
From keeping promises to myself.
From nourishing my body with living foods.
From protecting my nervous system.
From releasing relationships that no longer align with who I am becoming.
From knowing my worth isn't determined by applause, appearance, or achievement.
That kind of confidence can't be purchased.
It can only be cultivated.
If there's one thing I hope you take away from my story, it's this:
The relationship you have with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship in your life.
When you learn to love yourself deeply, your standards rise naturally.
Your health improves.
Your peace becomes non-negotiable.
And life begins meeting you at the level of love you've finally learned to give yourself.
Thank you for allowing me to share a piece of my journey.
I hope it reminds you that no matter where you've been or what you've believed about yourself, healing is always possible.
And perhaps today is the day your own journey begins.

Keeping small promises to yourself—such as exercising, drinking enough water, eating nourishing foods, getting outside, practicing gratitude, and setting healthy boundaries—helps build self-trust over time.
