How to awaken your intuition in 6 easy steps
Ask yourself this, why are you here? What led you to read this article on intuition? If using our intuition can be a helpful way to make decisions, is there anything we can do to develop or improve our intuitive process, or is this just a superpower some individuals possess?
This article will look at whether intuition can be learned, suggest some ways to develop our intuition, and potentially help you do the same.
Before you continue, I want to share with you a little tidbit about what led me to write this article. I had just finished a one-on-one intuitive guidance session with a new client named Bethany. Bethany was full of energy and life as she had been making many of the recipes from my new book Eat Right for your Zodiac! Even though our hour-long session had gone well, she appeared to be having trouble “tapping in”. I shared with her these detailed, science-based exercises that helped her realize her unique potential and create a life that feels energized and authentic. A life where just two weeks later, she feels as though she has truly learned how to develop intuition in order to make better decisions.
When clients approach me with the question of “how to get in touch with intuition” I always begin by telling them to do a serious check in with their mental health. You can do this by sitting in silence. Remember, meditation brings answers.
Whenever a client is having trouble with decision making they always call to book a professional intuitive reading with me. As much as I love accepting their monetary gifts, sometimes, it’s not always what they need. Far too often I turn them away suggesting they learn to tap into their own intuitive abilities.
Here are just a few tips on how to develop your intuition that you can use in your daily life.
1. Focus on creative activities. I literally have several spiritual coloring books that I bring out whenever I need to free my mind from the day-to-day tasks that weigh me down. Journaling and yoga are also excellent methods to use.
2. Listen to your gut feeling. Your gut feeling is what first comes to you when you are questioning anything in your life.
3. Eat well! When I wrote my book “Eat Right for Your Zodiac” I wanted people to recognize the different ways we each handle stress (especially empath water signs). Fueling our body with high vibrational foods is a must!
4. Get sunshine and fresh air! Vitamin D is a must when you are opening your third eye! The eye of intuition!
5. Tap into the physical sensations you get when you first walk into a room or when you meet a person. Ignore your analytical mind and focus on that sixth sense you get!
6. Intuitive readings with an intuitive life coach can also help you to develop your own intuition. Intuitive readings are a way to allow someone else guides to lead you in important decision making. Sometimes a. intuitive reading with an intuitive life coach is all you really need to take that leap you’ve been wanting to take.
Building intuition: How to develop intuition skills further
1. Spend time in nature.
One of the biggest questions my clients ask me is how to develop intuition. The number one way is simple, go outside. Nature heals and healing allows us to develop our intuitive skills.
2. Learn from the past.
Replaying negative thoughts, past experiences, emotions, and even recalling past life events will almost always stifle our intuition development. Maybe you have a gut feeling something isn’t right. Maybe you had a foreshadowing dream or a vision. If so, did you pay attention to that feeling, dream, or vision, or did you talk yourself out of it? Try to remember exactly how you felt. Recall as many details as possible. The more you can get in touch with the part of you that tried to warn you, the more you’ll trust it next time. This is where highering a past life regression therapist comes in handy.
3. Feel more, think less.
One of my favorite sayings is “you’ve got to feel it to heel it”. This is especially true for empaths and star-seeds.
4. Move your body
Move it or lose it! It only takes thirty-five minutes of gentle body movement such as yoga, a brisk outdoor walk, or rebounding to increase your intuition development.
5. Nourish your intuition by nourishing your body!
When I speak of eating nourishing foods, I’m speaking of eating a living foods diet. A diet of dead decomposing flesh will never support an intuitive mind.
6. Work with an intuitive life coach
An intuitive life coach is a professional psychic who helps you change your life by cultivating your dreams into reality. An intuitive life coach can assist you in accessing your intuition. … By gauging your energy and emphasizing emotional and spiritual healing, intuitive life coaches are exceptional at helping clients release the blockages that keep them from moving forward. How to use intuition once it is developed
So what can you take away from this article? Number one is to work on your well-being (in particular your diet) to make better use of your third eye.
By making healthier daily life changes, and better decisions within your personal selfcare routine, your own intuition will be sending you goosebumps that align you with your intuitive process. This is especially true if you are an empath.
Key takeaways on how to strengthen your intuition
The moral of the story here is to learn within the realm of your subconscious mind how to improve your intuition and how to listen to your intuition so that you can tune into your inner voice of proper decision making. The latter will be used to link to the post of the same title.
FAQs on developing intuition
How do you tell if your intuition is telling you something?
People experience intuition differently. For some, it may manifest as an image; for others, as a physical sensation (that classic ‘gut feeling’); yet others identify a more emotional response. Slow down and try to sense how, or where, you experience your intuitions.
I often have clients carry a journal with them during the day and have them keep this on their bedside table. Journaling prior to sleeping I find helps to clear the mind.
By making a note of your gut feelings and any ideas you may have or, thoughts about a situation or decision also means you can check them later, to assess how accurate or helpful they were.
Writing down words and phrases as they come to you when considering a problem may also provide you with a different insight. As an alternative or complementary approach, you can use the notes section of your cell phone. Although, for me personally… journaling is King!
Can intuition be learned?
In my opinion and from what I see in my practice, intuitive abilities cannot be learned.
